We took a trip to the Sky bridge and found out whilst purchasing our tickets that there were specific time slots. We had a bit of time to kill so we went to the nearby Seven Wells waterfall to dip our toes in the water and wander around for a little bit.
Upon coming back, we joined our queue and after being forced to endure a vomit inducing virtual rollercoaster, we were finally allowed to hop onto the ski style lifts that would take us up Machinchang mountain to the sky bridge.
The view was quite spectacular, that is until the mist started to roll in and the whole place took on an eerie Jurassic park feel to it.
The suspended Sky bridge in Langkawi is the longest free span and curved bridge in the world.
It offers beautiful views (when not shrouded with mist) of pristine beaches, blue water and lush undistrubed jungle.
There are glass panels which you can stand on that would be fun if you know, there wasn’t mist everywhere.
Fortunately, it did start to clear up after a while so that we could enjoy the views before heading g back to enjoy some ice cream on what turned out to be one of the only non-rainy days for me in Langkawi!
What a view!
