We were all rather happy to be leaving Laos, especially after the recent events of the bus journey from hell and sinking boat across the river.
B and I booked a bus straight to Phnom Penh, whilst V & C booked one to Siem Reap with the plan to all meet in Kampot. I’d already been to Siem Reap a few years ago and didn’t feel an overwhelming desire to return after my malaria scare.
After a few drinks in Phnom Penh, B randomly declared he fancied getting a piercing, or maybe even several.
“Shall we go get piercings?!” Laughed B.
I didn’t take much convincing. I’ve been saying for a while that I missed having my nose ring and I had been debating on getting one through my septum instead of my nostril.
Barely an hour later and we were in the piercing shop debating which colour to pick for our nose rings…
I love it!
I’ve never really thought of more piercings. I have my belly and my ears done but had both done around the age of 15 and only still have them because i’m lazy when it comes to change! Love your nose ring though, suits you so much x

Hello,
I hope it is not too weird to get such a comment from a stranger… I found your website while I was looking for piercing shops in Phnom Penh. I live here for a year and wonder if you could tell me the name of the shop? 🙂
Your septum looks great! I hope it healed up well?
Thanks,
Tess from Germany
