Out the front of the building and part of the Banteay Srey Womens Spa is the Deva Cafe.
As with the spa, the cafe is part of the same project that employs, empowers and teaches Khmer women.
Deva uses a combination of the best local ingredients and items picked fresh from their own garden to create their healthy and delicious menu.
They have a huge range of healthy juices, lassis and smoothies, my favourites being the refreshing watermelon & lime juice, and the creamy cashew carrot cake smoothie.
Pick from small tapas dishes (hot or cold) or as a main dish to suit your appetite.
The two dishes that kept me coming back for more were the raw spaghetti with pesto, which surprised me in how good it tasted, and the roasted vegetable and feta salad.
The cafe and spa are situated on a quiet road over the bridge from Kampot town along the river.
The cafe has juice bar seating at the front and an open loft area upstairs for dining
Food and drink are also available to order from the spa.
Not only is the food delicious but you can get behind a good cause!
